2008-09-08Dear General Manager of Amazon,
I purchased this product as many others I've bought from Amazon durring the last four years but, unfortuntely an inconvenience occurr while a friend of mine was brininging it for me to Lima, Peru. At customs her luggage arrived opened and the Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 clear plastic box, where the sticker with the product key was attached, had dissappeared. Fortunately, the discs weren't there but now it's impossable for me to install the product without a legal product key. I've been trying diffrent alternatives to try to find a solution but now after almost two months of knocking many doors requesting help, Microsoft says that Amazon is the only one that may void the product key and request a new one, giving me the oppurtunity of being able to finaly use my almost US$500.00 product.
Even though, I've sent many e-mails asking for HELP!!!! up to now I've had no positive responce. I shall greatly apprieciate your reviewing this case and issuing me a new product key.

2008-09-07I purchased Office 2007 Premium to upgrade my existing Office 2003 installation. Installation went fine, and I worked with the product for a few weeks. Then I wanted to use some templates--and found out that even though I spent a lot of money to purchase this product, IT DOES NOT COME WITH TEMPLATES! You have to download them from MS Office online.
When I tried to download the templates (resumes, brochures, etc.) the website finds my old 2003 installation and rejects the newer version, claiming that my product key is invalid. There is no work-around for this, and I have yet to find a solution. In other words, if you have a previvous version of Office, none of the templates or online content is avaliable to you.
How Microsoft would let a problem like this get through testing is beyond me. It illustrates the incompetance that has become the norm for this organization (check out the Vista diaster).
2008-09-06I found Microsoft Office 2007 to be a good upgrade compared to office 2003.
I like the ribbon and the way it's set up excell and Word. They've added some nice functionality. In Outlook I like the ability to flag items with diffrent customize colors.
Groove has been a terrible disappointment. I no longer use this program because of the dificulties it causes. We found that creating multiple copies of identicial spreadedsheets. We found it not always sinking correctly.
Overall it was a waste and I would not pay extra for that program.

2008-07-28I upgraded from Office 2000 at work and Office 2003 on my laptop and after some orietation time, find the product much improved over the older versions. The hardest thing is finding all the old familiar commands, but once I find them I realise there are many more usefull functions that I never used in the older versions. All in all, I am very happy with the product, even if it was only for the newer look and feel.
